Endangered Animals of Hawaiʻi is a coloring book featuring Hawaiian animals that are in danger of becoming extinct, or dying out completely.

The animals in this book are on, or are candidates for, the US government’s endangered or threatened species list, including the green sea turtle and nene Hawaiian goose. The animals in this book are all native to Hawai‘i, which means they came to Hawai‘i by air or sea without the help of people. Most of them are also endemic to Hawai‘i, meaning they evolved into unique species found nowhere else on Earth.
