Our black opihi design has been in the works for some time, for two years to be exact. Good things take time and this design came to life in a year where water was the focus of all of our newest prints. In Hawaii, 'Opihi is a prized appetizer but it also a name we give to our clingy keiki. They are difficult to harvest and require the skill of an 'Opihi picker who risks their life to pry these limpets off the rocks next to the crashing ocean waves.
